Located in historic Nolensville, Tennessee just minutes from Brentwood, Franklin, Nashville and Murfreesboro, Morning Glory Orchard is your one-stop shop for all things fresh!
This small, second-generation family farm offers peaches, apples, local honey, home grown vegetables, jams, preserves, cider, and fresh baked goods.
If you have never tasted the difference that tree ripened makes, then you are in for a treat!
Morning Glory Orchard grows 13 varieties of apples on over 750 trees. Each week the varieties of apples available are highlighted on their website and available on-site in their store.
While this is not a you-pick orchard, they invite you to purchase a ticket and take a self-guided tour. You can bring a picnic lunch and enjoy your lunch among the apple trees.
Homeschool Field trips are available in the first 2 weeks of October on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only. All persons over the age of 2 will need a ticket.
Tour guides take students on an adventure through the apple orchard as they learn about tree life cycles, pollinators, tools used in farming, and discuss the different animals one might see while visiting an orchard.
You will also have the opportunity to sample honey, apples and apple cider!

Buffalo Trail Orchard is East Tennessee’s favorite pick-your-own farm!
This Century Farm has been growing crops and raising cattle since James Collins purchased the first 34 acres in 1890.
They have 16 varieties of delicious apples today with 4 additional varieties on the way in a few years.
Apples start to ripen in late June and finish the season in early November. But, they have apples for months after that, thanks to a walk in cooler at their on-site farm store that keeps them extra fresh!
Homeschool Field Trips will be available on October 1st , 7th , 15th , and 22nd at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. Only one group will be scheduled for any given time period. Home school groups must call (423) 639-2297 and leave a message with the requested field trip date and time.

Homeschool Field Trips to Breedens Orchard are suitable for children from Pre-K through 2nd Grade (approx. 5 years of age-8 years age).
Field trips are offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, timing and field trip duration are flexible and created on a case-by-case basis.
