Sensory-friendly Maps are available online and indicate areas that might be loud, crowded, or have strong odors, as well as Quiet Areas.
Personal wheelchairs are welcome or available to rent for the day. Service dogs are welcome, but restricted in some areas.
Offers a 47-50% admission discount (depending on the day of visit) for military personnel and everyone in their party when they present their military ID. Purchase tickets in person.
Nashville Zoo is located just 6 miles south of downtown Nashville. It is the 9th largest zoo in the country by landmass and one of the top tourist attractions in the state. It has been named the Best Regional Attraction and Best Day Trip by The Tennessean.
Aside from roaming the trails, eating a snack, visiting the veterinary center, riding the carousel, feeding the lorikeets, and petting the goats, there are keeper talks and animal feedings scheduled weekly.
