Jennifer & Tim, a father-daughter team, have owned our Turkey Creek (Knoxville, TN) shop since July 2016 and see it as so much more than a bakery. “We may be in the baking business, but not many days go by where one of us in the kitchen points out that at Buttermilk Sky Pie, we are in the business of making people happy and helping others.”

Jennifer & Tim believe in giving back to the community. They regularly participate in our Pie it Forward program offering a unique pie flavor for a month with the proceeds from that flavor benefiting a local non-profit. They have donated pies to deserving members of the community, most recently in support of the Turkey Creek Medical Center.

It’s about people, relationships, and family. Jennifer smiles when she talks about one regular customer a 90-ish year old lady that still drives to pick up Chocolate Cream pies for herself and her friends. It is always bright spot when this customer drives up and comes through our doors. Family is a big part of the shop. During the holidays, you will likely see most of their family, even Grandmother, helping. Pies bring people together in so many ways!

Jennifer is a fruit pie girl. Her favorite is Cherry, which is only available as a seasonal flavor, so she enjoys Apple Pie as her daily flavor of choice. Jennifer & Tim would love to meet you on your next visit. Stop in, introduce yourself and find your favorite varieties.
